Ibrahim Mohd. Al-Khulaifi Trdg. Company (IMALCO) conducted their 9th Annual Sports Day – 2024 on Tuesday the 11th of February 2025 in Doha Preparatory School for Boys at Abu Hamour. The event was a success with the entire staff of IMALCO grouped into 4 teams namely, Hankook Maters, Furukawa Samurai, Eni Gladiators and Cromax Seals were engaged in various sporting activities such as Cricket, Badminton, Football, Basketball, Volleyball and some athletics.
The CEO of IMALCO, Mr. Aboo Backer Bavu, stated that sports is part of IMALCO’s DNA where it promotes healthy competition, teamwork and fitness among the staff.
The event closed with an award ceremony for all the winners and crowning of the best team of the year followed by a group lunch. Around 200 employees participated in this event.
