The 9th Annual Sports Day of Ibrahim Mohd. Al-Khulaifi Trdg. Company (IMALCO) was held on Tuesday the 14th of February 2023 at the Doha Independent Prep. School for Boys. The event was a huge success with the entire staff of IMALCO were grouped into 4 teams, namely Hankook Masters, Panasonic Samurai, Eni Gladiators & Cromax Seals. Where the teams participated in different sporting activities including Football, Basketball, Volleyball and some Athletics.
Addressing the staff, CEO of IMALCO, Mr. Aboo Backer Bavu, stressed that sports is part of IMALCO’s DNA which helps keep their staff fit, healthy along with physical and psychological wellbeing and create healthy competitiveness amongst colleagues.
The event closed with the prize giving ceremony for all the winners and titling of the best team of the year as Cromax Seals which was followed by a group lunch. Around 200 employees participated in this years event.
